The Highland Village City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission held a joint workshop on Thursday, June 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m. to receive a presentation from Poag, LLC regarding The Shops at Highland Village. At this time Poag, LLC has not made a submission to the City. The meeting was available for the public to attend as well as watch on the City's media outlets. A recording of the meeting can be viewed on the City website and YouTube channel and we have provided the presentation here as well.
Joint workshops with the City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission are for informational purposes only, no action is taken and no public hearing or visitor comments are included. When a developer applies for an amendment or change to existing zoning, public hearings are scheduled for both the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. The City’s development process is explained here.
This site was used to allow the community to submit questions that were then given to the developer to address in their presentation. There were many good questions and we appreciate the thought and effort put into submitting these questions. The City will retain all questions, some of which are best explored and answered if an application is made.
